// Following her resignation as principal of Acalanes, Allison Silvestri will be taking the role of Principal of San Lorenzo High School.
On Tuesday, April 19, the San Lorenzo Unified School District school board approved superintendent Fred Brill’s appointment of Silvestri to the position of Principal of San Lorenzo High School.
Silvestri said that she was “super excited” to begin her new job. She will remain as principal of Acalanes until the end of this school year, June 30, and will assist in the transition to a new Principal for the 2016-2017 school year.
Silvestri is grateful for the opportunity to go serve in a community unlike Acalanes, and hopes to use the skills she acquired in her time at Acalanes to benefit San Lorenzo High School.
“I think it will be a great fit for my leadership style,” said Silvestri. “Of course, I will miss the entire AHS community.”
