// Acalanes Boosters honored 13 student-athletes during lunchtime at the Big Gym on Thursday, May 23. These athletes have either signed or committed to play their sports at the collegiate-level after they graduate from Acalanes on June 7.
To start off this annual event, Acalanes principal Travis Bell recognized the athletes and the tireless efforts each student took to attain their goals.
Bell then handed the microphone over to boosters co-president Paul Wickline, who recognized the athletes’ parents for the continuous support they provided.
Co-president Richard Ney then asked questions to each of the athletes about their sport and why they chose their specific school
Each athlete discussed the arduous journey they took to excel in school and in sports, all with friends, family, and relatives in support.
