Cooking Corner: French Toast Roll Ups

1 or more slices of bread

2 or more strawberries


1 egg

Cinnamon Sugar


Makes as many servings as slices of bread used



Step 1

Cut the crusts of slice(s) of bread off.

Step 2

Roll each slice of bread with a rolling pin until thin.

Step 3

Spread a layer of Nutella over 1/4 of each slice of bread.

Step 4

Cut the strawberries into small pieces and place them on the portion of the bread covered in Nutella. Pro tip – don’t add too many strawberries or the rolls will come apart later!

Step 5

Starting at the end with the Nutella, roll the bread into a tube-like shape, leaving a small portion at the end. Spread a thin layer of Nutella on the small portion and roll the bread the rest of the way.

Step 6

Crack the egg in a bowl and whisk.

Step 7

In a pan on your stove, melt enough butter to cover the bottom of the pan.

Step 8

Cover each roll in the egg and place on the pan. Take the rolls off the pan when they become a golden color.

Step 9

Place the rolls in a bowl with the cinnamon sugar and cover them completely. Then, dig in!
