Pavlova Recipe

  • 6 egg whites
  • ½ cup and 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream


  • Preheat oven to 255 degrees.
  • Beat egg whites on high speed for about 1 min. This should form soft peaks.
  • Gradually add ½ cups of sugar with the mixer on.
  • Mix for 10 mins until stiff peaks form.
  • Fold in the vanilla extract.
  • Fold in the cornstarch.
  • Bake for approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.
  • Turn off oven, but leave in for 30 minutes with the door closed.
  • Take out and cool until it reaches room temperature.
  • Combine heavy whipping cream and 2 tbsp of sugar.
  • Beat on high for 2 minutes.
  • Top with fruit and whipping cream to serve. Enjoy!
